Testimonials:
“I have been training with Lori for the past 2 years and have seen and felt changes never before in my 20 years of weight lifting. The rounding in my shoulders and the sway back in my lower back have dramatically improved to where I am actually measuring a 1/2 inch taller in height. So instead of getting shorter as most do with age, I’ve actually lengthened!
With my new “Pilates Body”, not only has my golf game improved because of better posture and flexibility, I am prolonging my career as a chiropractor due to having a stronger core, better balance, better strength, better flexibility and better health.”

Here is Chris’s story of how Pilates training with Lori has reduced his back pain:
“
I have been doing Pilates with Lori Nelson for two years. My biggest physical issue is chronic low back pain for which I have virtually lived on daily ibuprofen. Stretching, massage, and Pilates exercise that focuses on core strength have worked for me. After two years of Pilates as being a part of my regular regimen my back pain is completely under control, and I hardly ever take pain killers. I am a believer in what Pilates does! “

Marcia’s found Pilates training with Lori has reduced her back pain and improved her overall performance in her Equine training.
When I started Pilates training with Lori several months ago, I was experiencing a lot of back pain due to my previous disc injuries. I am a hunter-jumper rider and was unable to ride due to the back pain. Within a few pilates sessions with Lori, my back pain was significantly reduced and I was able to start riding again. Now after just a few months, pilates has not only helped alleviate my back pain, but has strengthened my core muscles which has resulted in better balance and strength in my riding. My riding instructor has noticed a huge improvement in my leg position, balance and control. At age 52, I feel stronger, healthier and more physically fit than when I was in my 20’s.
Thanks Lori!

After a lifetime of pain, Ronnie found Pilates training has allowed her to do things she only dreamed of doing!
I am a fifty six year old woman, who by the age of twelve had my first back injury.Thinking more was better, I joined my closest gym. By my mid thirties, I injured myself again, all to my lower back. By this time I have been to countless doctors, all kinds of drugs, and still would have a flair up, just picking up a box, reaching across a table, or turning wrong in bed. I got tired of not being able to move. In 1999 I began seeing a chiropractor, which gave me a great deal of relief. In 2005, he recommended I try Pilates. I’d never heard of it, but by this point I’m willing to try anything. I have been with Lori ever since, I have learned how to use the most important muscle in my body, (besides my brain), my abdominals. I have always had very weak stomach muscles, but by my workouts with Lori, I have learned to stand, sit and walk correctly, (yes it does make a difference) strengthening the core muscles has given me mobility. My back has improved 110%, I could not be happier; I can finally play with my grandchildren, and enjoy a night of dancing, everything of course in moderation. (I’m not twenty any more!!)
I truly believe, I am capable of doing things I want today, due to my Pilates training.
